Lab Overview
In this lab you will author the four core configuration artifacts that drive Proxmox VE High Availability: HA group definitions with node priorities and failback settings, failover scenario plans that identify protected VMs and recovery targets, IPMI fencing policies that prevent split-brain, and HA policy tuning parameters that control migration limits and maintenance windows. Each task uses the actual Proxmox HA config file syntax so you build familiarity with the format before applying it on a live cluster.
