Bootstrap a real three-node Ceph Squid cluster with cephadm, deploy OSDs on loopback-backed block devices, create replicated and erasure-coded pools sized for a three-host failure domain, and validate block (RBD), object (RADOS), and filesystem (CephFS) interfaces end to end.
What You'll Learn
Bootstrap a three-node Ceph monitor quorum with cephadm and join peer hosts to the orchestrator
Deploy Bluestore OSDs across all three nodes using loopback-backed block devices and verify host-level CRUSH failure domains
Create replicated and erasure-coded storage pools sized for a three-host cluster (k=2 m=1 EC profile)
Validate block (RBD), object (RADOS), and filesystem (CephFS) storage operations against the live cluster
Prerequisites
