Lab Overview

Design and deploy a multi-AZ VPC on AWS using the CLI. You will create a VPC with public and private subnets, configure Internet and NAT Gateways, set up route tables, and validate connectivity by launching EC2 instances.

You'll learn to:

  • Create a VPC with a /16 CIDR block
  • Provision public and private subnets across two Availability Zones
  • Attach an Internet Gateway for public internet access
  • Deploy a NAT Gateway so private subnets can reach the internet
  • Configure route tables and subnet associations
  • Test end-to-end connectivity between public and private instances
