Lab Overview
This lab teaches production-ready Terraform state operations on Azure using the same learning progression as the AWS and GCP variants.
You'll learn to:
- Bootstrap an Azure Blob Storage backend and migrate local state safely
- Use Azure's native backend locking behavior for collaborative Terraform workflows
- Import existing Azure resources with declarative import blocks
- Refactor Terraform resource addresses safely with moved blocks
- Detect out-of-band changes and reconcile drift intentionally
The lab keeps the workflow aligned across clouds so you can compare how each provider supports the same Terraform state lifecycle.
