Lab Overview
This lab shows you how to bootstrap a Nomad cluster of three servers and two clients in two different ways. You'll first use Nomad's manual clustering with the server_join stanza, then rebuild the same cluster using automatic clustering with Consul.
You'll also see how easy it is to register Nomad tasks as Consul services so they can discover and talk to each other. Finally, you'll use Nomad's native integration with Consul Connect to secure service-to-service communication with automatically injected Envoy sidecar proxies.
We suggest running the Nomad Basics and Nomad Simple Cluster labs before this one.
