Config Connector Resource Management
Manage a GCS bucket from Kubernetes using Config Connector, applying manifest-driven resource creation in a project-scoped GCP environment.

Lab Overview
This hands-on lab shows you how to manage Google Cloud resources directly from Kubernetes using Config Connector.
You will:
- Create a local kind cluster and install the Config Connector operator
- Configure GCP service account credentials inside Kubernetes
- Define a Cloud Storage bucket as a Kubernetes StorageBucket manifest
- Apply the manifest and watch Config Connector create the matching GCS bucket
- Verify the bucket exists in GCP and test it with a real file upload
- Clean up both Kubernetes and GCP resources in the correct order
This lab mirrors a real platform engineering pattern: declaring cloud infrastructure as Kubernetes objects. Understanding this flow is valuable for the ACE exam and for teams adopting GitOps on GCP.
