Lab Overview
This hands-on lab guides you through installing and configuring Istio service mesh in a Kubernetes cluster.
You'll learn to:
- Install Istio using istioctl with the demo profile
- Verify Istio control plane components (istiod, ingress gateway)
- Configure automatic sidecar injection for namespaces
- Deploy the Bookinfo sample application with Envoy sidecars
- Verify mesh connectivity and sidecar proxy injection
